Delete your ARV Mitra account and data

This page is for the ARV Mitra app (Android package in.arvmitra.app) and the website arvmitra.in. You can delete your account and the data linked to it yourself, at any time.
How to delete your account in the app
1. Open the ARV Mitra app and sign in with your phone number. 2. Go to Profile. 3. Scroll down and tap "Delete account and documents". 4. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
How to delete your account on the website
1. Open arvmitra.in/account and sign in with your phone number. 2. Tap "Delete account, documents and local drafts". 3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
If you cannot sign in
Write to support@arvmitra.com from the email address you gave us, or use the Contact Support form on the website, and tell us the phone number of the account. We delete the account after checking that it is yours, within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your account sign-in, your saved person details and profile, your biodata and resume drafts, your profile photos, the documents you uploaded for forms, your answers in form applications that were not yet paid (these applications are cancelled), your notification settings and device tokens for push messages, and your ARV Credit balance.
What is kept, and for how long
Payment records, tax invoices, refund records and the approval you gave when you submitted a paid form application are kept because Indian tax and accounting law requires it, for the period the law requires. They are no longer linked to your phone number: the account is made anonymous. Backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
When deletion has to wait
If our team is working on one of your paid applications, the account cannot be deleted until it is finished, so that your form is not lost. If you own a cyber cafe partner account, contact support first. ARV Credit has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, so unused credit is lost when the account is deleted.
